Bruce Anderson was called to Olivet in April 1991 as Senior Pastor. Bruce was saved in a tiny country church and knew shortly after his salvation that God had called him to preach. He and his wife, Marlene, served as missionaries, then in pastorates in Oklahoma and California before coming to Kansas. Bruce is a graduate of Omaha Baptist Bible Institute (presently Faith Baptist Bible College & Seminary) and Central Seminary, where he received his doctorate in Counseling. Bruce & Marlene have four grown children and eleven grandchildren.

Associate Pastor/Church Administrator johntilson@smcschool.com John joined the pastoral staff in 2010 to oversee the day-to-day administrative work of the church and school, With John taking these responsibilities, Pastor Anderson was relieved of a heavy load in order to concentrate his time more on the congregation of the church. John was also carrying the load of the School Administrator until 2016. John and his wife, Lois, have three grown children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. |

Micah grew up in Kansas City and graduated, from Northland University with a degree in counseling. Besides working with our teens, Micah teaches in our school, and Jana, his wife, is our school secretary. Micah has a unique insight into the ministry God called him to do here.
